Our Programmes: Overview
At Fuse we deliver a wide range of programmes to support children, young people, as well as their families and the wider community in Shettleston and Glasgow East to maximise their potential and overcome barriers. Our programmes are chosen based on our commitment to contribute to the Scottish Government’s National Performance Framework and to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Daily Youth drop-in sessions for children and young people in Primary 5-18 years old.
School holiday breakfast and lunch clubs for children in Primary 1-4.
Parental Engagement Programme
Working with our school partners to support families in fun and healthy activities.
Accessible after-school care for families
Encouraging young people to utilise their creative imagination through art, music, and drama.
Building the skills and educational capacity of children and young people through multiple accredited pathways.
Supporting S4 pupils to gain National Certificates in Maths and English - supporting entry into vocational pathways to college.
Supporting the community to reduce carbon footprint and wasteful consumption.
Oor History Too
Engaing young people about their heritage and the history of their local community.
Supporting physical health and wellbeing in young people, through fitness fun, cooking and food education.
Dramatic Effect Oral Health
Drama and peer education with the aim of promoting good oral health habits. One of the many different activities that feature in the Senior Youth Drop-in Sessions.
