Anakin's Annex
Anakin’s Annex got its name in a vote with our young people and staff and because we are all big Star Wars fans! The Annex was an addition to the existing building in 2015.
Much of the facility prior to this date still resembled features of the local pub known as The Shieling Bar, with its bar, lounge and stage area. The National Lottery among many other funders provided investment to the building to give the young people ‘The Annex’, a multi-functional space.
This room is suitable for presentations with a laptop, projector and flip chart stand available on request - see Addons & Extras for more information.
This space has ethernet internet access (if this is unsuitable, speak to us about possible options) the space can be set up in a number of ways around your specific needs:
- Theatre: 50 people max
- Boardroom: 28 people max
- Classroom: 24 people max
This allows room for a top table or a serving table for refreshments.
Our room hire rates include the use of equipment from the choices mentioned above.
Refreshments such as tea/coffee, water and fruit juice are at an additional charge – see Catering & Kitchen for more details.
Bookings for this room are between 9am-9pm.
Rates are £25 per hour with reduced rates for half and full days.
